Hi, I’m Johnna and I Love Gems
I work with gems and minerals to make beautiful jewelry. However, right now we are in the midst of a pandemic. I live in Baton Rouge, which is part of a major hotspot of COVID-19 outbreaks.
I had a bit of a scare. I’d been ill for 3 weeks with shortness of breath, severe chest pain, a low-grade fever and both a wet and dry cough. It turned out to be walking pneumonia–something that sometimes doesn’t show up on Xrays. I also tested negativie for COVID-19.
This is why I am temporarily shutting down my online store and jewelry business. I love making them, however, I don’t want to catch this stuff and I don’t want you to catch it. I would be shipping from a hotspot and our postal workers don’t have adequate protection. So, let us be safe.
I do custom jewelry design and will resume my services soon–when it is safe tor non-essential travel (such as mailing off jewelry).
