When I first started wire wrapping, I wasn’t serious about it at all. In fact, Daryl told me, “One day this will make you a lot of money. You can build a business out of this,” I didn’t believe him. I was not business savvy. I wish he could see me now. Not only does Elon Musk have a moldavite, the gem that Daryl introduced me to, that I wrapped, but I have had a lot of success with my jewelry on and offline.
I once had a store in Dallas and one in Houston. Those closed down and life happened. Many of you know my story of how Elon Musk literally saved me–but he did more than that. He exposed my art to millions of people around the world. Several times.

Every time Elon responded to one of my mineral related tweets or even my jewelry tweets, I made sales. I am still making sales. In fact, my trip to Atlanta was funded by my jewelry sales from several folks who own Teslas and own stock in Tesla. I now own stock in Tesla and am saving up for a Cybertruck.

I wanted to give back to this awesome community so I used my jewelry to promote good things. One month I wrapped a bunch of Tesla and SpaceX pins and gave them away–to enter all one had to do was share why they love Tesla.
This time, I gave away a Shungite wrapped in Argentium silver and to enter that giveaway all one had to do was say why they love or support Elon Musk. The winner was a super awesome woman I have been friends with a year now and she is also one of the most popular Twitter users Elon interacts with.
Her name is Evelyn. She lives near the SpaceX Boca Chica site and often visits the Starship to take photos and video as it is being built. Even Elon retweeted her videos. In fact, it was Evelyn who inspired Elon Musk to send a Tesla Roadster to Mars on the maiden voyage of the Falcon Heavy.
This week, Evelyn took a video wearing the Shungite I made with the Starship in the background.
The type of Shungite that is wrapped is known as Elite or Silver Shungite and is the higher priced and rarer variety. Unlike the other type of Shungite, Silver Shungite has a silver sheen.
I definitely plan to do more giveaways in the future and hopefully one day I will be able to have Elon send one of my jewelry pieces to space. I would totally crowdfund it to cover the cost or maybe even barter. It may seem like a pipe dream, but dreams definitely come true–as we have seen with Elon Musk making his come true.
Thank you, Evelyn, for taking the time to model my jewelry over at SpaceX.
If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to connect with Evelyn on Twitter.
Both Evelyn and I landed writing jobs. I write for CleanTechnica covering Tesla, Elon Musk and EVs. Evelyn writes for Tesmanian covering SpaceX and space related stories.
