Minerals are formed by the elements. Earth, air, fire or water. Fulgurite is formed by lightning (fire). It’s natural glass and its made by actual lightning strikes melting either sand or bare rock as the electricity hits the ground.
This is why Fulgurites have different colors. Some are brown, some are black. They are known by their hollow tubes that are often branched or just look plain weird.
Fulgurite is said to help one awaken to their own higher purpose. It’s known for bringing the light into a situation and they are mainly found in the Sahara or Gobi Deserts.
The name, Fulgurite, gets its name from the Latin word, fulgur which means lightning, which plays a crucial role in the creation of this mineral.
When lightning hits the sand or rock, the heat released is as high as 1,800 degrees Celsius.
Fulgurite is known to evoke a sense of purpose and remind you of all the things in your life to be grateful for.
It’s also known for bringing hope and helping you to understand that we have a purpose–a reason for being.
It’s a reminder that there is no such thing as “losing your way” because we all have our paths we travel on. .
