Ametrine is a lovely mix of Amethyst and Citrine which are purple and gold varieties of quartz. Purple and Gold are also LSU colors (I’m a Tigers fan). These two gems combine to make a unique and lovely gem that is protective, calming, yet energizing and inspiring.
Ametrine balances the crown, third eye, and solar plexus chakras. It helps you stay calm in moments of chaos while energizing you to take on that chaos with a calm energy. It helps you improve concentration as well as focus when you are working or meditating. Ametrine is a gem of balance and connection and helps stimulate creativity while balancing your mind. It also helps you to be more self-confident and helps remove toxins from the body.
Iron impurities mix in with different oxidation states in order for Ametrine to occur. Iron is a mineral of strength and grounding and is known for protection. Both Amethyst and Citrine are highly protective against negative energy and together in Ametrine, this gem also attracts abundance. Citrine resonates with abundance (not just money but in all things) and helps you to resonate on that frequency.
Ametrine removes negative attachments from the aura and creates a shield around it. It’s a gem of joy and cheer and boosts up morale as well. It energizes and inspires you to be creative while also bringing peace of mind. Ametrine is a birthstone of Gemini and Libra.
